Pillar

Subscription Terms

Effective date: September 7, 2026 · Last updated: September 7, 2026

The short version. Pillar is free to use for one posture session a day. Pillar Premium removes that limit and adds Pomodoro sessions, the full Insights history, sound choices and widgets. It costs $28.99 per year, or $7.99 per week with a 7-day free trial. Either plan renews automatically until you cancel in your Apple Account settings, and Apple handles every payment and refund.

Prices are shown in US dollars. What you actually pay depends on your App Store country and is displayed in your own currency, including any applicable taxes, on the purchase screen before you confirm. The price on that screen is the one that counts.

4. Free trial

The free trial applies to the weekly plan only. The annual plan has no trial — it is charged when you subscribe. Things worth knowing about the weekly trial:

5. Auto-renewal

6. How to cancel

Cancellation is done in your Apple Account, not in Pillar — we have no way to cancel it for you.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Pillar, then Cancel Subscription.

You can also do it from the App Store app: tap your profile icon, then Subscriptions. Apple's own guide is at support.apple.com.

7. Refunds

Apple processes all payments for Pillar, so Apple also handles refunds — we cannot issue them. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com: sign in with your Apple Account, find the Pillar charge and choose “Request a refund”. Refund decisions are Apple's, made under Apple's policies and applicable law. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory withdrawal and refund rights still apply.

8. Restoring a purchase

Reinstalled Pillar, or moved to a new iPhone? Use Restore purchases in the app. Signed in with the same Apple Account, it re-checks your subscription with the App Store and re-enables Premium at no extra cost.

9. Changes to plans and prices

We may change prices, plans or what Premium includes. A price increase for an existing subscription takes effect only after Apple has notified you and, where Apple requires it, you have agreed — otherwise the subscription simply does not renew. If we materially reduce what an active paid subscription includes, we will tell you in advance so you can cancel first.

10. Apple's and RevenueCat's roles

Subscriptions are sold and billed through Apple's App Store and are also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We use RevenueCat to verify whether a subscription is active; it receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase receipts and your subscription status, and no payment card details. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
